Depuis la fusion de 1973 avec FAULQUEMONT, la commune de CHEMERY n'a plus de Conseil Municipal.
Un maire délégué est élu et siège au Conseil Municipal de FAULQUEMONT.Il est chargé de représenter les intérêts de CHEMERY et de transmettre à l'assemblée faulquinoise les propositions faites par la commission consultative de CHEMERY composée de neuf membres.
